Every garment begins with a conversation: how you dress, how you move, and how you want the clothing to feel over time.

From there, a pattern is drafted by hand and refined across multiple fittings.

We offer a range of services to meet the needs of every client. Have something else in mind? We'd be happy to work with you to create a truly bespoke piece.

    • Suits

    • Jackets

    • Trousers

    • Coats

All pieces are made in Florence using traditional methods, with full canvas construction and generous inlays to allow for future alteration.

  • Sartoria Salino reflects a specific interpretation of Florentine tailoring:

    • A soft make, with minimal padding

    • Clean fronts, without darts

    • A balanced shoulder — extended slightly, but never exaggerated

    • Fuller drape through the chest, with a natural line through the body

The aim is not sharpness for its own sake, but ease — garments that sit cleanly without feeling restrictive.

As Vittorio often says, bespoke should not feel formal or untouchable. It should work just as easily with denim as with a tie.

  • The process

    1. Initial consultation

    2. First fitting (basted)

    3. Second fitting (refinement)

    4. Final delivery

Additional fittings are added where necessary. Garments are made to be adjusted over time, not fixed in a single moment.

    • Florence: typically 6–12 months

    • Trunk shows: typically 9–12 months

Our Process

Initial consultation

A bespoke garment begins with understanding the person who will wear it. We discuss lifestyle, taste, and purpose before selecting cloth and establishing the foundation of the commission.

First fitting (basted)

The first fitting allows the garment’s character to emerge. Balance, proportion, and comfort are evaluated directly on the body, with adjustments made by hand.

Second fitting (refinement)

As the garment takes shape, finer details are refined. The goal is not perfection on a mannequin, but harmony between the wearer, the cloth, and the cut.

Final delivery

The finished garment is delivered only when both tailor and client are satisfied. From this point forward, the piece begins its real life: to be worn, softened by use, and shaped by experience.
