About:
The tailor and the tradition

Vittorio Salino began his career in Rome before refining his craft in Florence, where he became head cutter at Liverano & Liverano — one of the most respected bespoke houses in Italy. There, he developed a deep understanding of proportion, balance, and the subtle discipline that defines Florentine tailoring.

Driven by passion

After leaving Liverano, Vittorio began building his own practice, while also working closely with Gianni Seminara — an older generation tailor whose atelier has operated continuously in Florence for nearly a century.

This dual influence remains central to his work today.

From Liverano comes a focus on finish, measurement, and clarity of line. From Seminara, a softness of construction and a more relaxed, generous silhouette. The result is not a reproduction of either, but a balance between them — a jacket that feels both considered and natural.

Sartoria Salino is still intentionally small. Each garment is cut individually, with fittings that evolve through dialogue rather than prescription.
